before washing it (the dye)? is it 20min or longer? & how long it will stay before it needs a new touch up, if I shower twice per day, from your experience?
Is it possible to get a temporary/semi-permanent tattoo that will last no longer than 5 years?
I want to get a tattoo down the back of my neck but don’t want to stuck with the commitment of a permanent one. On the other hand, although the henna tattoos look fantastic for about a week, they start to wash out afterwards so it’s not an option.
I saw a "tattooist" who told me there’s no such thing as a semipermanent tattoo & if i get one done by any of those who claim to be able to do it, there’s no guarantee of how long it’ll last or if it’ll even come off at all. He also said they come out looking amusing ‘cos a different type of dye is used.
I don’t know if this is all right, but i want to know people’s take is on semi-permanent tattoos. I really want to get one (or a couple) but, like i said, i don’t want to go permanent for a number of reasons including the possibility that i may not want it in the future, plus i despise it when i see older people with tattoos which probably looked fantastic when they were younger and had firmer skin but looks nasty on sagging skin.

Girl with piercings and tattoos on MySpace..?
The other day, I was looking through random MySpace profiles and found a girl. She had black hair. I can’t remember anything about her profile, except for the fact she had thousands of friends.
Anyway, she had colourful tattoos across her left shoulder [birds, rainbows etc] and possibly more on her legs.
In her photos, one album was called "Piercing Project" where she’d had photos taken of her [San Photography?] whilst having suspender piercings done.
She also had photos of herself lying with a girl with curly hair with captions saying something about her girlfriend.
I *reckon* she models clothes [some of her tattoos had been airbrushed out] and in a couple of the photos with another girl, there were borders and a logo type thing in the left corner, which could have been a website name.
Does anyone know who she is & can provide a profile link?

I am looking for ballpark figures for an abs tattoo?
I want to have "ab contours" very lightly inked on my stomach, to give the impression of a better body.
It doesnt want to be obvious, so a subtle ’shadow’ airbrush style would be awesome. I have a small 30" chest and am not tall
I want to go for that defined look, without asking for supermans abs. I am only after the stomach area and possibly the upper part of the hip, but not the pectoral area.

I consider myself a fantastic (realistic) artist. I believe I have the talent to become a excellent tattoo or airbrush artist. I know that there is always more to learn and I am willing to do so but before I enter into any tattoo shop & question for an apprenticeship are there any books, videos ect. that would help me learn or become more familiar in the tattoo/airbrush industry to be more prepare?
Tattoo laws in Germany?
So this summer i am going to go to Germany. so i was thinking about getting a small tattoo of two hearts (on my collar bone or hip prob hip cause of my parents) but i was wondering would they id me? if i do my hair and makeup right i can pass for 18 sometimes. my parents won’t even be in the country ill be staying with relatives and a friend said he’ll take me to get it done (he’ll be 21) so would it be possible for me to get a tattoo without ID what is the actual age to get it done… I will be staying in Saarland and basically would be able to go anywere in Saarland (Voelklingen, Saarbruecken, etc.) I will be 2 hours away from Frankfurt. Right on the border of France (but i don’t speak French so i wouldn’t get it there i do speak German tho). and 1-2 hours away from Luxembourg. so if you know any places near there that i could get it done that do share

oh i figured it would be because i was able to buy cigarettes and alcohol when i went at 15 even tho u cant til ur 16 for light alcohol and 18 for cigarettes
homemade concoction to put over my temporary tattoo to make it stay on longer?
this girl i know used to draw on herself with sharpie, then cover it with some mixture of something, iforget what. it made the design stay on. anyone know what makes a temporary tattoo stay on longer? [lotions/power mix or something idk!!] and please dont give me "just dont rub it or anything!".lame. lol

Is there a temporary tattoo that last 2 weeks?
It is like an ink, but not air brush. I remember seeing it on MTV a long time ago. A girl got a tattoo of Jordon from "The Kid from the block" group. What is the name of that type of tattoo and does every tattoo place have it? I want to get a temporary one first before thinking of getting a real one.

I’m interested in getting a real tattoo, but I wanted to get a "temporary" first to try it on for size. I really want something that will look as close to a real tattoo as possible with color. Airbrush i heard comes off in shower, same as the stamp ones. Is there anything temporary tattoos out there that look real and can last more than a week?
